The people are the architects, the architects are the pushers, and the government is not an issue.

In a world which is architecture is becoming a real estate manners and no sensitivity is involved in any part of the design processes, sometimes, as it appears in this project, there are developers (architects, founders, ministries exc.) how cares about this issue and they feel obligated to act.

With this counterpoint a group of 50 candidates has chosen and consider them as the "costumer".  In the process of collecting a DATA base which will give the parameters to the project i needed to start a social process to maintain my skills as an architect and a developer that cares about the public interests and not managing a design process with financial and economics interest absolutely.

In the process of understanding the exact needs of the people who are going to use the facilities of the project, or we may say, the project itself, I needed to work hard, to ask questions, to observe and to stay connected to the candidates, the "costumer", the public.

This process was mainly a process of asking questions, observing the candidate's routine, calculating sq. m for a person in their houses, and to search for their biggest concern in their neighborhood, town, university, school, roads, nor life itself.

By doing this process, I collected a colorful budget of opinions, thoughts, critics and conclusions who gave me the opportunity to be managed by a social group, the candidates them self's, and not from a misleading interest.

A special site was chosen to this project, after a lot of tries in other generic urban areas, this site was the radical result it brought.

In the city of Ordos- inner Mongolia there was a pollution problem and it put all the people there in a risk. The government decided to participate to solve this problem by building a new city for all this people.

In a period of 5 years only, All the city has built. A city for one million people were ready with all its facilities, include museums, culture centers, malls, libraries, and even a competition center for Formula 1.

The radical result that mentioned in the 6th paragraph is that: NO one came to live there.

All the generic buildings, serial duplex houses and endless roads and facilities, all of them, stayed empty.

The bottom up radical generic strategy gave it sign and failed, and here we come, by trying to make a top down process and to put life in this place.

this is a great try to bring the colors, the activities, the technology, and most important – people. to this place
